University of Ibadan -Miss Idia 2009.

I just returned from Miss Idia 2009 of university of Ibadan, the time now is 10:54pm Wed 6th May 09. Men!!!, it was fun. Though the program started late around 8:00pm (4hrs behind schedule), the entertainment lightened the mood of everyone.

The 2 MC’s were good and really funny, they made us Smile like Dr Smile. Some local Singers and dancers performed but the crowed went crazy when the popular DENRELE of SoundCity was introduced. At first, I was confused cos he was introduced as ‘were’ meaning Mad person. He called himself Werele. Honestly looking at his dressing and style, Omo that guy na correct ‘Were’.

I suppose u know ‘cunny cunny love’ by Clever J. He performed live, I touched the guy (am shy!!!). Anoda popular group of 3 performed, i really can’t remember their name but they sang ‘Tear Rubber’ (popular song on MTV Base)… she be tear rubber maybe, she no be tear rubber maybe, remember the song?

A local Government chairman was there too, in fact he came with his entire village. His introduction took hours, MC’s were mentioning Honourables like Rap. He was a Student of U.I, he promised more Borehole water (Na today?). The students wooed when he was giving credit to our current Governor -Alao Akala (no comment! I no talk anything)

The ladies were good, there were 6 contestants, Contestant No. 3 was better and anticipated to win, but contestant number six looked richer and best dressed. I knew 6 was gonna win immediately I saw her dinner gown, men!!! that dress make sense. Gist has it that her managers bought it today for N12,000.00. (My girl wanna buy gown of N15k…) ). Omo i don die, I wanted to take contestant 3 out on a dinner date, all her managers (100+) insist they’ll follow, infact they wan chatter bus cos my car no fit contain… God save me plz. (contributions plz )

…it was fun, Miss Queen Elizabeth will be coming up next week, I don’t know if I’ll be in the States then.
